Hamilton and CBC

As part of the ongoing Hamilton Media Project, the CCS, working with the City of Hamilton, appeared before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage during their review of the Mandate of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. The arguments presented by the CCS and the City featured prominently in the final report of the Heritage Committee. The report is available here.

The Hamilton Creative City Initiative is a project that analyses the current state of the cultural industry in Hamilton and its potential for growth. Results from the first phase of research are available here.
